Polandís people are strong as the Carpathian mountains.

Going through the pain and woe of the Nazi invasion.

Still strong, her people stand and dance and sing.

God gave them the strength to do these things.


The fall of 1939 was a bad year,

But they lived on and they endure.

Mother to pianist, scientist and Pope,

She sends her children out into the world, bringing hope.
